Over the last several years, Volvo has rolled out three all-new models in the XC90, S90, and V90. These cars don’t just represent new generations of the brand’s flagship models, but a new take on styling, safety and luxury while pointing towards an autonomous driving future. Now, the XC60 is joining the fold of updated models after the 2018 redesign debuted in Geneva.
Like the XC90, the 2018 XC60 boasts the T-shaped Thor’s Hammer headlamps and waterfall LED tail lamps with their own unique twist. According to Thomas Ingenlath, the visionary behind the brand’s new design, this is to provide greater differentiation between model families while preserving family ties. That can be easily seen with the XC60’s powertrain options, which mirror those found on the XC90.
